Lighting my Frag Tank

I wanted to light my frag tank with a 70w MH. I found a good deal on a ballast on e-bay, but never researched the bulbs (Duh, I broke my own rule to always research, but the auction was about to end). I guess it's the supply and demand syndrome but $90 seems a bit high for a 70w bulb. I can find 4000K bulbs all over for about $30. I'm pretty sure I already know the answer, but can a 4000K bulb grow softies? I plan to grow frags of Shrooms, Zoa's and Leathers. The tank is a 20L.

I just got an e-mail from another Co. that has a 4900K bulb if that will work.

Im not crazy about using that bulb on that size tank. The 20l is very long and narrow so it will be really hard to spread the light properly without spilling alot of it outside the tank. I hate most flourescent bulbs and fixtures, but i think pc or t5 would be better for this tank.

Thanks, but that is a DE bulb. I need a SE bulb.

I found 6500k's but they are about $90! I think they were Hamilton's.

I was wrong, they are Iwasaki's. I guess supply and demand has the price so high.
