Torch reproduction?

As I was just casually looking into my tank I see my torch spewing out these "egg" like things that my clown seemed to like as a treat as well. Is the torch spawning?

I wonder if you could tell if it or other neighboring torches are shedding enough gametes to fertilize.
If so I then wonder if some of it could be collected, moved to safely stay in another spot of the tank and then grow....Not sure about torch reproduction.
