If I can ever find one and it does not cost an Arm & Leg I will own one of these, the King of all Turntables. This table was $9,000 in the 70's

Ohh how I love my tube amps.

I think I do not like you :D...and it is not fare having tube amps when I don't, although my Threshold is Class A

Who's do you have ?

Two years I almost bought a $2,000 tube CD player and ordered Western Electric new vintage tubes, @ $200 for a matched pair (takes 2 pair), to replace the crap ones it came with.

OK Doc

Boomer,
Threshhold is a fine amplifier even though its solid state....:tongue1: j/k I recently(about 4 years ago) went thru an upgrade process. All I can say is ouch!!! And Im sure you know exactly what I mean. I was originally using an output transformerless OTL1 by a gentleman named Julious Futerman. Was an outstanding amplifier for its time. I am now running Atmoshere tubes.. transformerless as well. I absolutely love them. With my current speakers they are a wonderfull match. Also retired my turntable about 8 years ago..(although I still play some lp's on occasion...:splitspin). Was a linn table/graham arm with an upgraded lingo synchronous motor. I went for my lungs with a DCS transport/player. This peice must be heard. Dead quite....artifact free. Only drawback is i need an engineer degree to operate it. It is way to complicated than it should be. None the less an outstanding peice.

That Goldmund is SICK @ $300,000 and so is the Transrotor  I have A Nakamichi 600. That "Dragon" clan is just to much. OH, Sony L-cassette and V-FET's and ah, Class D switching Amps :)
