The one at 57th and 8th is Reef Aquarium Inc., 5415 8th Ave. 718-633-7850. They are curing a large amount of Fiji live rock that will be ready in a month for $5.50/lbs. Livestock looks healthy and there is nice assortment. I know this place only because it is around the corner from Pacificana which has incredible Dim Sum.

Saltwater city is no more but there is a new store in its place. It is called Exotic Aquarium and they have a lot of fish. Some coral and right now they have about 20 clams. They have some of those borbonius anthias (120$ seems like a good deal simply because I havn't seen them in many places), a mystery wrasse, some mated flame wrasses among lots of other stuff. It's worth a visit.

i been there last week and it was closed! what happened? seems like these fish stores in bk are all closing down.
