I can't seem to get a better pic than this but in the highlighted areas do the polyps look like stinging hydroids? The polyps are very similar to those on my diodogorgia in size and shape. The are growing in an area maybe 3 x 4" total in size.
They are growing on my base rock which cant be removed from the tank. If they are hydroids how can I eradicate them? Can I superglue them? Would it work if I put a thin piece of epoxy putty over top of them? I've read I can burn them off kalk but I've also read accounts where this failed. Thanks for any help.
