No picture, just a description...

Its a small fleshy LPS coral, approximatly 1.5cm, originally attached to a rock with mushrooms. It is fairly flat with an egg shape (oval with one side smaller), no visible skeleton. It has two mouths situated in the center parallel to the longest side. Its tentacles range from 1-3mm and are located in thee 'rows', one close to the mouth, one on its perimeter, and one in between; they are present during the day and retracted at night.

It has a striking resemblance to tongue coral but it is not free living, so it has me stumped.

If by a tongue coral you mean a heliofungia species, or "plate" coral, they do not start out in life as free living specimens, its only when they get a bit of size to them do they break off.
