It is hydnophora. Don't put it too close to anything else. It has a nasty sting towards other corals and always seems to be the winner of the battle. Other than that it is an easy to maintain, fast growing coral.

Does it always look like that or is it just retracted?

Since it if always look like that i would call it Pavona.

Hynophora is usually very easy to identify due to its distinctive tentacles.

Oh well. I was wrong. I don't know why I thought it was Hynophora. Now that I look at it, it really doesn't look anything like it.
