Got some LR and ended up placing this chunk facing down. First was just looking like bleached coralline but details and colour started coming out. It's not soft.
Wondering what it is and if coral what about placing re: light (2x250w, 14K MH).
Looks sort of like a dying sps. Maybe Digitata formosa? Or even a very sick encrusting pagoda. It is realy hard to the touch? Do polyps protrude from those corallite/mouth looking dots? If so what size ar they in relation to an sps polyps?
