I started my 55g about four or five weeks ago with 100 pounds of LR from ReefSplendor. I went to pick it up and I watched Dan take the rock, not from his rock curing tanks, but from the tanks he keeps some of his clams and corals in. Needless to say the rock did not need to be cured. Anyway, about five minutes after I put the rock in the tank, I watched several Stomatella sp. "crawl" out of my rock. They have multiplied prolifically in the tank thus far and there are countless tiny ones appearing every day. They are really rather nice to look at and they are harmless. I love them and I'm going to spread the joy buy giving some to my boss for her tank. Happy St. Patricks Day!
