Weird thing is I havent purchased any corals or rocks in a long time, probably a year now. I noticed this crab for a split second after I fed today. My brittle star came running out and exposed him. His body was about the size of a quarter and he was a grayish blue color. I couldnt get a photo befor he got back under the rock.
He probably reef safe as I must have had him awhile but what do you think he is?

Even with pics the chances aren't good unless it's fairly common. Crabs ( reefsafe and not ) can remain unseen for years in reef aquariums.
