he's been rubbing his tentacles up against my xenia lately and doesn't SEEM to be hurting it, but I don't want to take a chance either... (he's grown a bit and was NOT close to that xenia when I put my tanks back up after moving...)
Not sure but possibly a Long Tentacle or Corkscrew anenome. Just about ant clown should call it home if that's what it is. Don't be suprised if it never hosts a clown in your tank though, sometimes an aneneome may never host a clown in an aquariums.
Think it was something like 20-30. Don't remember really though as it was a while ago. Had a false perc in with it for a while (until the dumb thing jumped out of the tank and died) and I never saw him even get close to the enomone.
Any ideas on why it would be touching the Xenia? Not sure if it is stinging it or not. I've seen it rub it's tentacles on the base of the anemone and also put it's tentacle between the fingers of the Xenia while it's pulsing and keep it there. I'm also kinda wondering if they are having a symbiotic relationship together or something (or maybe the anemone is just cleaning the xenia)... Don't know if that is a possibility or not.
