Here's a pic of my torch. Notice the thing in the yellow square that looks kinda like an eyelash. Someone told me that it may be a barnacle. Can anyone confirm this? The torch doesn't seem to mind, it's growing like crazy.
I really can't tell from that pic, doesn't really remind me of the barnacles I'm more familiar with...however, there are some species of barnacle (couldn't tell you which ones) whose larval stages are parasitic to fish.
