Nothing quite like this in FAQ and I can't seem to find an exact description anywhere. This thing is emerald green, has the consistancy of jello and is very quick to grow. It went from 3" to this in a few days. It waves in the water and seems to have a mind of it's own. It can contract in a matter of seconds. It's attached to the LR, there are a few of them and is the stringy thing in the middle of the pic.

Any ideas? Good or bad?

Thanks.

I have updated my pic with a circle around the weirdness. I think that you both might be looking at the little algae plant below it. I looked at pics of both caulerpa and helimeda and man they sure dont look like this thing It's more like mucous and very jello like.
