I just pulled three of these out of my sump in one day, and another one swimming around near my overflow. My tank has been up for two years, and I have never seem them before. I did not see an ID of what these are in this string. Does anyone know?

Thanks Chucker. What are the pros and cons of amphipods, and what brings them into the tank? Also, as a new member of the board, can you tell me what the HHFAQ is and how to get there? Many thanks!

They usually arrive somewhere in your LR. Quite harmless, and good at munching on organic material that otherwise might not get consumed. They are often sold in detritivore kits and as live seahorse food.

You can find a link to the HHFAQ nested within the description of this forum back out on the main index page for the bulletin board.
