what is this tomato looking thing

The red reminds me of tunicate tissue, and the orange looks like sponge.

I believe they are both sponges. You look like you have rock from TBS. I have the same creatures on my rock from them.

the orange one is a placospogia or wood sponge, as for the red one i cant find in my book but i would guess its also a sponge, both should be hardy espically if they came on the rock i wouldent worry about them, put them in a good flow area and they should grow well.

oops, I hit enter too fast. I was going to say that the red one has recently opened these 2 tubes on either side, I think it is alive... I love this crap :lol: . Once again I appreciate the help. Kowkilla

Then Chucker had it right: the red object is a tunicate.
