Fish Heads

New Reefer
This snail is very new, probally was larvae a month ago. Either came in on something you introduced or it was born in your tank. Looks like a herbivorous snail. I notice its cleaning with its radula. Most likley it's safe, but not 100%. At this stage its hard to tell what genus its from. It kind of looks like a bubble snail Hydatinidae sp. The large foot on the snail is what makes me think its a type of bubble snail. At this point it is really hard to identify it 100%. Baby snails metamorphically change radically as they grow. It's a Stomatella and is harmless...in fact they're kind of nice. I had some in my tank for a time when it was newer, but they all eventually died off.
