What the heck is this???

Ok...I am working on getting a good pic of this thing...but for now here is the discription:
BRIGHT NEON GREEN body, small bright tentacles attached, looks like some kind of hydrozoan or a neon anemone. Also any tips on getting good photos close up in a tank would be appreciated!!

It may be calciferous algae. It looks kind of like a neon green q-tip....

star polyps perhaps?I have a clump of bright green (encrusting) star polyps in my tank that are really starting to spread.
