Red macro or tunicates??

I've got these crimson bubbles that grow on the rock. They've got small red dots on the tops that flouresce under actinics. They've spread somewhat and seem to like lower light areas (caves, etc). There doesn't seem to be any runner that connects them--they're just clusters. No visible openings either. Any IDs out there on this? 2 angles of the same cluster are attached.

Got some of that myself. I'm betting that's algae. If they were tunicates, you'd at least see a pair of siphons to circulate water through the animal.
