Last night, I hit the lights in the room that the aquarium was in and saw a dozen worms swimming in the water. They're about an inch long and are white. The last 1mm on either end is clear. They are less than 1mm in dia. and they corkscrew their way through the water. They're pretty fast and seem to feed on the hair algae on the glass. I'll try and get a pic, but has anyone seen anything like these before?

I think they are called Polychaet or something like that. When they are spawning they swim all over.
