I'm not sure which pic your referring to for the I.d...top one ...Anthelia.... bottom ...is a devils hand(leather coral)

huh ?
thank you reefer, what I meant is that leather coral was my first coral ever someone gave it to me and I didn't even know what a polyp was !
so I started a thread asking a lot of questions about the coral such;
"should I put it on the sand"
"should I leave it on the rocks"
"the yellow little flowers are closed, what should I do?"
lol
I have learned a lot in this forum about reefs!!
thank you M.R.

Alot of leathers I owned in the past are very temperamental...some like to be high near the light others like to be low..I had the same devils hand and mine liked to be up high near the light.you'll have to shuffle him around till he is happy..also mine like medium flow.as far as the polyps goes I wouldn't be too concerned...once he finds that happy place with good enough light and flow the polyps will be out alot more
